GDB constantly employs resources to make post-consumer paint reusable by absorbing leftover paint and recycling it
to create a sustainable cycle that reduces the degenerative impact of the paint industry on the environment.

Sorting
A process where water-based paint is separated from solvent-based paint
and non-paint products. Handled by trained professionals, this step helps
in eliminating the film defect caused due to incompatibility of solvent-based
products and latex paints. Paints are sorted based on prime colors like white,
black, yellow, red, and others. Products with containers in good condition
move to the next stage while damaged products are sent off to a
team of chemists.
Quality control
Poured totes are then moved to GDB’s plant where samples from each
mixed tote are checked for quality control (QC).The QC results determine
if the quality of the mix and the type of enhancement required to produce
quality recycled paint. QC testing is an integral part of the process and
is repeated at various stages.
Remanufacture
GDB enforces a stratified model to ensure that the quality of the final
recycled paint is high at the end the remanufacturing process. Retrieved
paint is broken down and remerged through various substages based on
type and unwanted materials like chunks are removed in this process to
produce a fine finished product. Each batch requires a different process
to be recycled and is hence given individual attention to ensure
high quality paint production.
Filling & Packaging

GDB’s Extensive Recycling Program helps not only in
creating a sustainable product life-cycle but also
benefits the people. This recycled paint is sold in
our own retail stores and used largely in CSR Projects in
developing and underdeveloped countries as well as
for schools and educational institutions worldwide.
“
I have been in the paint industry for a long time and have come across complex processes that B2B businesses offer. But with GDB everything from start to finish is super easy and seamless. The way I procure the materials I need has changed. I’m saving a lot of resources and time on my backend work and utilizing it to get more business instead. With GDB it’s plain sailing in business.
